Get connected!
Be sure that the Chamber has your correct mailing address, contact telephone numbers and email address. Your email will be the primary source of communication between you and the Chamber. You'll frequently receive announcements of upcoming events, your newsletter and other items of interest by email so be sure to check and open it.
Get to know your leadership!
Your Chamber leaders and fellow members want to get to know you and it's important for you to introduce yourself to others who are networking as well. You will make new friends and gain access to potential customers. As advocates for business interests, Chamber leaders need to know what you and your business are all about. Connect your business and build your network.
Get involved!
The more time you put into DACC membership, the more you will get out of it. Come to board meetings, volunteer for a committee, and by all means, please attend the DACC events. Your SUPPORT and PRESENCE are important in order to present a strong message of unity, commitment and ambition. That message is vital for the community and potential customers.
You will find lots of ways to get involved, get connected and network with Chamber leaders, other Chamber members, other businesses in the Wiregrass; promote your business and help the DACC achieve its goal of providing a strong economic climate and attractive living environment. Business After Hours featuring informative programs are available for your business to sponsor every other month on the third Thursday.

Share your news. You are always welcome to call, come by or email the DACC office with word of new and exciting promotions, building projects, improvements, new employees, promotions, etc. We will be glad to publish these non-typical advertising news items by email, on our website, our Facebook page and in the newsletter.

Business Spotlight. Get in the spotlight on our website. A business will be nominated, popular vote wins, and that business will have a page on the DACC website in a feature called the Business Spotlight.

Business Directory. Be sure to have your business listed on the "Find-A-Business" page on the DACC website.

Employment Opportunities. Looking to hire someone? Send us the information and your application in PDF form and we will advertise that you are hiring!

Welcome packets. The DACC prepares and distributes welcome packets at the monthly Newcomers Briefing at Fort Rucker, so your brochure, menu or other promotional material will get directly into the hands of Fort Rucker families. information is needed in the DACC office by the third Tuesday of the month.

Special events. The DACC has many events throughout the year that would benefit from your participation and would enrich your life as well, such as the Military Appreciation Event known as Spartan Fest, the Scarecrow Festival, the festive Christmas parade, and the educational and entertaining Native American Pow Wow.

Sponsorship's. Take advantage of DACC events to advertise your business. Your business name gets exposure through signage at events, in brochures and programs, and often in media announcements, articles and/or ads.

Referrals. As a member of the DACC, your business will be a priority referral when community members or people from all over the nation and world ask for information about restaurants, real estate agencies, motels, insurance, retail stores or other products and services.

Tax deductions. According to IRS.gov and other tax websites, DACC dues and other expenses for promoting and marketing your business are tax deductible. Please consult your own accountant for details.

Member discounts. The DACC is working to establish discounts for its members on various services. Contact the DACC to learn more.
